Hyder Ventures is an investment fund with a commitment to invest in early-stage companies emerging from north Wales with potential to have a global reach. Providing an accelerator programme with pre seed funding and the possibility of follow-on funding for companies committing to basing themselves in the area.
Working in partnership with Bangor University in the first place, the first identified two spin-out companies; Neural Arcade and Pelagic Paint.
The next hackathon is scheduled in partenership with Wrexham University for October 2026.
